Description
Employee with long fingernails working with exposed food, single-service items or clean equipment and utensils.

2-401.11(B) FC: (B) A food employee may drink from a closed beverage container if the container is handled to prevent contamination of: (1) The employee's hands; (2) The container; and (3) Exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and unwrapped single- service and single-use articles. 13 Clean clothes; hair restraints; jewelry; painted/artificial fingernails Basic 2-304.11 FC: Food employees shall wear clean outer clothing to prevent contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single- service and single-use articles. 2-402.11 FC: (A) Except as provided in Paragraph (B) of this section, food employees shall wear hair restraints such as hats, hair coverings or nets, beard restraints, and clothing that covers body hair, that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.
