Description
Employee used visibly soiled food thermometer to measure food temperatures without first cleaning the thermometer.

3-302.11(A)(7) and 6-404.11 FC: 3-302.11(A) Food shall be protected from cross contamination by: (7) Storing damaged, spoiled, or recalled food being held in the food establishment as specified under Section 6-404.11; 6-404.11 Products that are held by the permit holder for credit, redemption, or return to the distributor, such as damaged, spoiled, or recalled products, shall be segregated and held in designated areas that are separated from food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles. 3-302.11(A)(3), 3-304.11 (A) and 4-602.11(A)(4) FC: 3-302.11(A) Food shall be protected from cross contamination by: (3) Cleaning equipment and utensils as specified under Paragraph 4-602.11(A) and sanitizing as specified under Section 4-703.11; 3-304.11 Food shall only contact surfaces of: (A) Equipment and utensils that are cleaned asspecified under Part 4-6 of this Code and sanitized as specified under Part 4-7 of this Code; 4-602.11(A) Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be cleaned: (4) Before using or storing a food temperature measuring device;
